Plan Ramadan, White Friday and Eid as one calendar

In the GCC, a few moments drive a large share of the year’s online sales. Ramadan and Eid, White Friday, back to school and national days all compete for the same budget, stock, content and team time. Brands that plan each moment on its own tend to arrive late, overspend, and run out of creative halfway through.
Why one calendar matters
Budget: when each peak is planned separately, the first one gets overfunded and the last gets whatever is left.
Stock and ranges: marketplaces and quick commerce need stock in place before a peak, not during it.
Content: Ramadan content needs a different tone, rhythm and timing from White Friday content, and both take longer to produce than most teams plan for.
Learning: results from one peak should shape the next, which only happens if someone is looking at them together.
How we plan it
Map the year on one page: every peak, by market and channel.
Set a target for each peak and fund it against expected return, not last year’s spend.
Build content in seasons, not campaigns. One creative system with variations for each moment and channel.
Lock stock and marketplace deals early, especially promotions on Amazon and Noon.
Review after every peak and move budget to what worked.
Ramadan is a season, not a sale
Shopping behaviour changes across the whole month: browsing moves later into the evening, gifting builds toward Eid, and the tone of communication matters more than discounts. The brands that do well plan for the whole season, not just the last week.
A single calendar won’t make every peak perfect. It will make sure the budget, stock and content are in the right place when the moment arrives.
If this sounds familiar, it’s worth a conversation.
A short call with both partners. No obligation.

Marketplaces or D2C? Plan them as one.
Amazon, Noon and your own store each do a different job. Plan them together instead of letting them compete.
